Chris had been working toward a special piece for her friend Vivien, and had been collecting relevant images for the piece over several years. A couple of design attempts stalled because of limits imposed by our development and production processes. Then came Liz's piece, and the watershed trip to Melbourne.
Once we'd discovered the opportunities available through photographic printing, we were keen to exploit the new size and resolution possibilities to actualise Vivien's design. Upgrades in both our design (Graphic) and paint (Artrage) software came through at just the right time to allow Bill to paint at a resolution to complement the new print process.
We selected a frame from our collection that fit well into the space available on Vivien's wall, and the various elements were drawn together to fit.
Although this is a highly personal creation, we are proud to make it available for a limited number of other Viviens everywhere. These signed and numbered limited edition prints are formatted for 6"x8" (15x20cm) frames.
